Sell To Us

We buy collections

Cash for your collection

Most collections we buy start the same way. A cupboard that finally needs clearing. A collection that stopped being fun. One good pull worth more than the rest of the binder put together.

No buylist to trawl through, nothing to pack up and post away, no waiting a week to find out what you got. You walk in, we go through it together at the counter, and you leave paid — cash or bank transfer, whichever suits you.

What we're after

LEGO

Sealed sets and minifigures. Retired Star Wars, Ideas, Modulars and Creator Expert are the ones we chase hardest, but bring anything sealed and we'll look.

Sealed sets and minifigures only. Loose bricks and built sets aren't something we can take.

Funko Pop

Boxed or loose, one Pop or two hundred. Chases, vaulted figures, con exclusives and grails are worth showing us first.

Shelf wear on boxes is fine. We'd rather see it than have you write it off.

Cards

Pokemon, One Piece, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball and the full sports range. Hits, chase cards, sealed product and graded slabs.

Hits only — no bulk, commons or energy. Vintage and Japanese always of interest. Raw is fine, nothing needs grading first.

Four steps, usually one day

1

Send a photo

Use the form below, DM us, or skip straight to walking in. A rough photo and a ballpark count is plenty to work from.

2

We come back with a number

Priced off what things are genuinely selling for today, and broken down so you can see which parts carry the value.

3

Drop it in

Any day of the week at Carrara. Big collection? Message first and we'll block out proper time to go through it.

4

Cash or bank transfer

Paid at the counter, your choice of cash or a transfer straight to your account. Nothing held back, nothing on consignment.

Not on the Gold Coast?

In store is still the best way to do it — you get an answer on the spot and walk out paid the same day. But if you're interstate or too far to drive, we'll take mail-ins on these terms.

1Get a quote first. Don't post anything before we've agreed on a number. Parcels that turn up unannounced we can't take responsibility for.
2You cover the postage, both ways. Send it tracked and insured, at your cost. If we can't agree on a number and the lot goes back to you, return postage is on you as well.
3Send us the tracking number. As soon as it's lodged, message us the tracking number and the carrier. Without it we've no way of knowing your parcel is coming or chasing it if it goes missing.
4We check everything on arrival. Condition and contents get verified against what you described.
5Payment goes out once it's confirmed. Bank transfer straight to your account, same day we finish checking.

If what arrives doesn't match the description, we'll come back to you with a revised number. Accept it and we pay, or we'll post it back at your cost. No surprises either way.

Once it's in the post, it's in the courier's hands. Frenly Bricks isn't liable for anything Australia Post or a courier loses, damages or delays, in either direction. That's exactly why we ask you to insure it — if something does go wrong, the claim is yours to make and we'll give you whatever photos or paperwork you need to support it.

Packing guide

Pack it like it's going to get thrown, because it might. Whatever you're sending, include a note inside with your name, phone number and the quote you agreed — and message us the tracking number as soon as it's lodged.

LEGO
  • Leave sealed boxes sealed. Don't cut or peel the shrink wrap to "check" anything.
  • Wrap each set individually. Corners and edges are what lose value in transit.
  • Minifigures go in a small rigid container or bagged individually, never loose in the carton.
  • Fill every gap so nothing can shift around inside.
  • Use a sturdy outer carton for anything boxed. A satchel won't cut it.
Funko
  • Pop protectors are ideal if you have them, but they're not a requirement.
  • Wrap each box individually. Edges and corners take the damage.
  • Don't tape directly onto the Pop box — it lifts the print when we remove it.
  • Pack tight with padding so boxes can't rub against each other.
  • Rigid carton only, never a soft satchel.
Cards
  • Sleeve anything valuable, then put it in a top loader.
  • Team bag or tape the top loaders shut so cards can't slide out.
  • Send hits only. Don't pad the parcel out with commons, energy or bulk — we won't price it and you've paid postage on it.
  • No loose cards rattling around in a box.
  • Sealed product gets wrapped individually, then boxed with padding.
Graded slabs
  • Wrap every slab individually in bubble wrap or a slab sleeve.
  • Never let two slabs touch. They scratch and crack each other in transit.
  • Sandwich between rigid card, or use a purpose-made slab mailer.
  • Pack so nothing can move at all, not even slightly.
  • Tracked and insured, no exceptions on graded cards.

Straight answers

What won't you take?

Loose bricks and already-built LEGO. Bulk cards, commons, energy and low-end singles — we deal in hits, not volume. And anything badly damaged or water-affected. Beyond that, ask. A quick photo costs you nothing and saves you a drive out here for an answer we could have given in a minute.

I'm not on the Gold Coast, can I post it?

Yes. Get a quote from us first, then post it tracked and insured at your own cost. We check everything against your description on arrival and pay by bank transfer the same day we finish. In-store is quicker and simpler if you can make it, but interstate is no problem.

Why don't you pay before you've received it?

Because condition is the whole ballgame, and we can't grade a photo. A card that looks near mint on a phone camera can have a soft corner or a print line you'd only catch in hand. Checking first protects both of us — you get a fair number based on what's actually there, and we don't end up in a dispute over something neither of us can prove after the fact.

What if you value it lower once it arrives?

We come back to you with a revised number and the reason for it, usually with photos. You can take the new offer, or we post the lot back to you at your cost. We won't hold anything hostage or pressure you into accepting.

What if it gets damaged or lost in the post?

Once a parcel is with Australia Post or a courier, it's out of our hands and we're not liable for damage, loss or delays either way. Insure it for what it's worth and pack it properly — the packing guide above is there for a reason. If something does go wrong we'll photograph how it arrived and give you whatever you need for the claim, but the claim itself is between you and the carrier.

Who pays return postage if I don't take the offer?

You do. Postage is at your cost in both directions, which is another good reason to get the quote sorted before anything gets sent. We'll pack it back up carefully and send it however you'd like to arrange it.

How do you land on a price?

Recent sold prices, not asking prices. Graded cards go off current market for that cert and grade, LEGO off retirement status and what sealed copies are actually moving for. You get the reasoning, not just a figure, and you're free to go away and think about it.

Do I need to book?

Not for a handful of items, just come in. For anything that fills the boot, send a message first so someone's free to sit down and do it properly rather than rushing you between customers.

Can I keep the good bits and sell the rest?

Of course. Plenty of people clear the lot in one hit, plenty keep their favourites. We'll quote either way and we won't push you to include something you're not ready to part with.

How do I actually get paid?

Cash or bank transfer on the day, your choice. No holding period and no store-credit-only catch.

Am I locked in once you quote?

Not at all. Quotes are free and there's no obligation. If the number isn't what you had in mind, that's completely fine, no pressure and no hard feelings.

Do you buy from kids?

We'll happily look at anything, but for anyone under 18 we'll want a parent or guardian there before money changes hands.
